El libro Relics, Shrines and Pilgrimages en algunos medios de comunicación

Esta mañana se ha presentado el libro Relics, Shrines and Pilgrimages. Sanctity in Europe from Late Antiquity, London. Routledge 2020 en una rueda de prensa que ha tenido lugar en el Instituto de Estudios Gallegos Padre Sarmiento (CSIC, XUGA) y que ha contado con las intervenciones de María Nava Castro, directora de Turismo de Galicia; Eduardo Pardo de Guevara, director del IEGPS; y Antón M. Pazos, científico del CSIC en el IEGPS y editor de la obra.

El libro recoge las conclusiones del 10º Coloquio Internacional Compostela y, como otros de los Coloquios Internacionales Compostela que se celebran desde hace años en el Instituto de Estudios Gallegos Padre Sarmiento, se publican en la editorial británica Routledge https://www.routledge.com/Relics-Shrines-and-Pilgrimages-Sanctity-in-Europe-from-Late-Antiquity/Pazos/p/book/9780367188672

Con éste son ya seis los volúmenes publicados en Routledge: Pilgrims and Politics. New Perspectives on Historical and Contemporary Pilgrimages (2014), Women and Pilgrimage in Medieval Galicia (2015) y Translating the Relics of St James (2017).

Hoy se presentará a los medios de comunicación el libro Relics, Shrines and Pilgrimages. Sanctity in Europe from Late Antiquity, que acaba de ser publicado en la conocida editorial inglesa Routledge y del que es editor Antón M. Pazos, vicedirector del Instituto de Estudios Gallegos Padre Sarmiento. El libro refleja el 10º International Colloquium Compostela, que tuvo lugar en  Santiago de Compostela con especialistas de diversos países.
